St. Charles is renowned for its outstanding customer service and scored as one of the top hospitals on Long Island in the delivery of high quality care.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Our OR Resources Specialist will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide a variety of secretarial and clerical services for the OR department- primarily OR and Pre Surgical Testing scheduling, registering, and billing of surgical patients. </li><li>Coordinate the scheduling of OR cases, including booking add on cases </li><li>Sharing and communicating daily schedules to offices for confirmation </li><li>Maintain files </li><li>Generating weekly reports for pertinent information pertaining to booked surgical procedures </li><li>Schedule Pre-Surgical testing appointments </li><li>Maintain all OR statistics and reports </li><li>Maintain files on surgeon privileges and staff skills </li><li>Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment within the department </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>1 year of secretarial experience required </li><li>1 year of medical experience with a surgical focus preferred </li><li>Candidate must possess excellent communication skills </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>USD $26.45 - USD $30.90 /Hr.</p> <p>This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
