<p>Job Title: Construction Materials Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Construction Materials Technician plays a crucial role in the engineering consulting sector, focusing on field operations and ensuring the quality of materials used on construction sites.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee field operations related to construction materials. </li><li>Ensure the quality of materials used on site meets industry standards. </li><li>Conduct laboratory testing of construction materials. </li><li>Perform concrete testing, inspection, and quality assurance. </li><li>Conduct soil testing and use nuclear gauges for quality control. </li><li>Execute compaction tests and concrete slump tests. </li><li>Pull cylinders and break cylinders for testing purposes. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with testing construction materials in a laboratory setting. </li><li>Proficiency in concrete testing and inspection. </li><li>Knowledge of ACI standards and construction quality assurance. </li><li>Ability to perform soil testing and use nuclear gauges. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>NICET certification in relevant areas. </li><li>Experience with asphalt and materials testing. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment involves outdoor fieldwork, often in various weather conditions.
