<p>QA Laboratory Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This position requires working in both the analytical and packaging laboratories located on the factory floor. You will play a key role in ensuring quality control and consistency in production.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct testing and analysis using techniques such as HPLC, GC, chromatography, titration, and pH testing. </li><li>Work collaboratively in the analytical lab, spending approximately 90% of your time here, and assisting with quality issues on the manufacturing floor as needed. </li><li>Operate in the packaging lab, dedicating around 70% of your time to the lab and 30% on the factory floor for sampling, paperwork review, and handling quality holds. </li><li>Ensure quality control and consistency in the production of beverages, including energy drinks, hard seltzers, and beer. </li><li>Participate in training sessions lasting approximately 6-7 weeks, with specific training periods in the analytical and packaging labs. </li><li>Be available for overtime and flexible scheduling, including working any assigned shift based on seniority and business needs. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as HPLC, GC, chromatography, titration, and pH testing. </li><li>Strong knowledge of chemistry and microbiology. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or a related science field (biology, natural science, etc.), including completion of lab coursework. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in laboratory environments and quality control processes. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, including brewing and batching. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule</p> <p>Monday-Friday from 2:00pm-10:00pm</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $23.94 - $23.94/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
