<p>About Stoke:</p> <p>Stoke Therapeutics (Nasdaq: STOK) is a biotechnology company dedicated to restoring protein expression by harnessing the body's potential with RNA medicine. Using Stoke's proprietary approach, the company is developing antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to selectively restore naturally occurring protein levels. Stoke's first medicine in development, zorevunersen, has demonstrated the potential for disease modification in patients with Dravet syndrome and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 study. Stoke entered into a strategic collaboration with Biogen in 2025 to develop and commercialize zorevunersen for Dravet syndrome. Under the collaboration, Stoke retains exclusive rights for zorevunersen in the United States, Canada, and Mexico; Biogen receives exclusive rest of world commercialization rights</p> <p>STK-002 is Stoke's proprietary antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) in clinical development for the treatment of autosomal dominant optic atrophy (ADOA), the most common inherited optic nerve disorder. STK-002 has been granted orphan drug designation by the FDA. A Phase 1 study (OSPREY) of STK-002 in people with ADOA is now underway. The company is also conducting early research in Syngap1, a severe and rare neurodevelopmental disorder, in collaboration with Acadia Pharmaceuticals.</p> <p>Stoke's initial focus is on diseases of the central nervous system and the eye that are caused by a loss of ~50% of normal protein levels (haploinsufficiency). Proof of concept has been demonstrated in other organs, tissues, and systems, supporting broad potential for the Company's proprietary approach.</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>The Director/Sr Director, Commercial Insights will be responsible for generating and synthesizing insights from primary market research, competitive intelligence, and relevant secondary data to guide decision-making across the organization. The role requires strong strategic thinking, the ability to turn complex and sometimes ambiguous information into clear recommendations, and excellence in influencing senior leadership. This position will report into the Vice President, Commercial Operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Market Research Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Own the end-to-end design, execution, and interpretation of primary research across patient, caregiver, HCP and payer audiences. </li><li>Ensure insights are high-quality, unbiased, and directly tied to strategic questions for pipeline and commercial launch activities. </li><li>Build a structured insights roadmap aligned with key development milestones, TPP refinement, positioning, and launch planning. </li></ul> <p>Competitive Intelligence & External Monitoring</p> <ul> <li>Lead Stoke's competitive intelligence function, including landscape assessments, ongoing monitoring of clinical, regulatory, and commercial developments, and synthesis of implications. </li><li>Deliver timely alerts, threat/opportunity assessments, and scenario planning to R&D, Commercial, Medical, and Executive Leadership. </li><li>Partner cross-functionally to ensure a consistent, forward-looking understanding of the competitive environment. </li></ul> <p>Insight Synthesis & Strategic Influence</p> <ul> <li>Integrate primary research, competitive intelligence, and relevant secondary data into cohesive, actionable recommendations. </li><li>Serve as a strategic thought partner across Marketing, Commercial Operations, Clinical, Medical Affairs, and HEOR. </li><li>Shape key strategic deliverables, including TPP refinement, brand strategy, patient journey mapping, demand drivers, and launch plans. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with forecasting and analytics to ensure insights inform models and commercial planning assumptions. </li><li>Work as a bridge between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure clarity of objectives, quality of deliverables, and value creation. </li></ul> <p>Vendor & Budget Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage relationships with research agencies and CI partners, ensuring best-in-class quality and efficient use of resources. </li><li>Oversee annual insights budgets, project scopes, and timelines. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, MS) strongly preferred. </li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in market research, competitive intelligence, commercial strategy, or insights generation within biopharma. </li><li>Experience in rare disease, neuroscience, or genetic medicine preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated success presenting insights and influencing executives and cross-functional leaders. </li><li>Expert-level capability in designing and interpreting primary research. </li><li>Strong command of competitive intelligence, landscape analysis, and synthesizing external signals into strategic implications. </li><li>Ability to simplify complexity and craft clear, compelling narratives from disparate information. </li></ul> <p>Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.</p> <ul> <li>Proactive, highly curious, and comfortable operating in an emerging commercial organization with evolving needs. </li><li>Familiarity with secondary data sources to triangulate insights. </li><li>Understanding of forecasting inputs, commercial analytics, and launch planning frameworks. </li></ul> <p>Location(s):</p> <p>Stoke is located in Bedford, MA. This position is a hybrid position with an office setting based in Bedford, MA location.</p> <p>Travel:</p> <p>This position will require approximately 10% travel.</p> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <p>At Stoke Therapeutics, we are committed to offering a comprehensive, competitive and thoughtfully designed total rewards program.</p> <p>The anticipated salary range for this role at the Director level is $185,000 - $243,000 and at the Senior Director level is $219,000 - 292,000. The final offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including role scope, experience and qualifications, education, market benchmarks, internal equity, and geographic location.
