<p>Project Manager - Machine Build</p> <p>The Project Manager will lead industrial automation projects from conception to production release. Projects will consist of launching new industrial automated production equipment for the mass production of automobile airbags. There will be a strong focus on planning, project execution, promoting teamwork and facilitating communication with cross functional teams. You will be part of a highly innovative team that turns concepts into fully functionable production lines producing lifesaving products.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in line design workshops and provide input related to equipment for new production cells </li><li>Create detailed quotes for new machines / production lines </li><li>Facilitates scope of work meetings to ensure clarity of work and expectations for projects </li><li>Participates in design reviews </li><li>Makes sure machine standards and Machine Build processes are being followed </li><li>Will manage any engineering change requests </li><li>Manages projects timing and approved budget </li><li>Conducts team and safety buyoffs activities to ensure machines meets scope of work requirements </li><li>Coordinates transport and installation of new equipment at customer facility </li><li>Ensures open action items are completed </li><li>Supports customer buyoffs and ensures equipment is ready for start of production </li><li>Will be the main point of contact for overall project status </li><li>Will report project status and concerns on a regular basis to department manager and customers </li></ul> <p>What is required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline like engineering or in lieu of degree 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, technical field </li><li>Computer skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint </li><li>Communication skills - Oral, written, listening and great attention to detail </li><li>Demonstrated project management skills </li><li>Leading to Lean and SolidWorks experience a plus </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you:</p> <ul> <li>Attractive compensation package </li><li>Recognition awards, company events, family events, university discount options and many more perks. </li><li>Gender Pay Equality </li></ul> <p>Autoliv is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
