Working at Hero is both a career and a calling … join us, BE A HERO!</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.</p> <p>You will be responsible for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct training and development for Dental Assistants </li><li>Assist in the management of the clinical schedule and back-office flow </li><li>Provide a high level of chair-side assistance demonstrating a DA Level IV mastery of dental skills </li><li>Ensure the practice has adequate supplies to meet patient demands both in the clinical setting and with lab inventory </li><li>Provide behavior management using guidelines approved by American Academy of pediatric dentistry </li><li>Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment. </li><li>Ensuring practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc. </li><li>Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, employee handbook). </li></ul> <p>You will be required to possess the following:</p> <ul> <li>At least 1 year of previous experience as a dental assistant on pediatric patients </li><li>Identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics </li><li>Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, listening to patients' needs, and possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth </li><li>Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry </li></ul> <p>Your Compensation and Benefits will include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Monthly bonus plan </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plan, disability and much more! </li><li>Professional advancement opportunities in an established, growing health care group. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>This position requires full range of body motion.
