We provide services\nthrough a network of contracted mental health and substance use providers and\nadminister the State's resources and training for behavioral health providers,\ncase managers, and other healthcare professionals. We advocate for our patients\nand families and create space for personal engagement in their care.\n?\nWe are outpatient specialists for mental\nhealth services for older adults and youth, substance use providers and\ntreatment program specialists, advocates for quality improvement and patients'\nrights, and psychiatric and integrated health care providers.\n?\nFor more information about the\nBehavioral Health Department, please visit www.acbhcs.org.\n?\nTHE\nPOSITION\nUnder general direction, to supervise\nand coordinate day-to-day functions of clinicians and other behavioral health\ncare professionals, paraprofessionals, and/or interns providing community-based\ncrisis intervention services for children and adult populations with mental\nhealth and/or substance abuse diagnoses on mobile crisis, mobile evaluation and\ncommunity assessment and alternative transport teams which includes direct\nclient contact in the community, partnering with law enforcement, crisis\nintervention, field clinical assessment, outreach services, and other related\nduties as assigned.? Work is performed seven days a week, with varying\noperational hours (including on call shifts as needed), and varying assignment\nlocations in order to best serve the community.\n?\nBehavioral Health Crisis Intervention\nSpecialist Supervisor is the first-line supervisory level of the Behavioral\nHealth Crisis Intervention Specialist series.? Behavioral Health Crisis\nIntervention Specialist Supervisor's provide day-to-day supervision of Mobile\nCrisis Teams (MCT), Mobile Evaluation Teams (MET), and Community Assessment and\nAlternative Transport Team (CAATT) including the coordination and delegation of\nwork/assignments, staff coverage, performance evaluations, and training.\nIncumbents in this position may assist the Division Director, Crisis Services\nin administrative functions as needed. \n?\nPositions in this class series are\nlocated in the Behavioral Health Care Services' Crisis Division which provides\ncommunity based crisis prevention and early intervention services to clients\nand the community.? This class is distinguished from the lower level class\nof Behavioral Health Crisis Intervention Specialist I/II in that the latter\ndoes not have supervisory responsibilities.?
