<p>Job Title: Scientist III - Data Review</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Scientist III, Data Review is responsible for reviewing testing documents generated by the Quality Control Analytical department. This role involves supporting programming needs, tracking timely deliveries, and evaluating demand against capacity. The Scientist will maintain electronic systems and coordinate with lab managers to resolve testing priorities and timelines.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Review testing carried out by the labs, including routine testing, validation, and stability. </li><li>Efficiently communicate with peers, QA, and staff to ensure timely corrections of data, resolve issues, and identify when support is required. </li><li>Interact with auditors and clients during visits and tours, as needed. </li><li>Act as a subject matter expert in the area of data review and compliance, mentoring junior employees. </li><li>Assist in maintaining data integrity. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1-3 years of HPLC/UPLC experience in quality, analytical, or pharmaceutical industry. </li><li>Experience with HPLC/UPLC assays like SEC, CEX, Glycans, Peptide Map is a plus. </li><li>Prior use of EMPOWER is preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of GMP regulations in a cGMP manufacturing environment. </li><li>Working knowledge of scientific principles for a wide range of analytical techniques. </li><li>Quality control, analytical chemistry, and wet chemistry skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 7 or more years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical environment. </li><li>Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word, and Smartsheet. </li><li>Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, cIEF, CGE, DNA, ELISA. </li><li>Understanding of cGMPs and Quality Control regulatory requirements. </li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple timelines and coordinate reviews for multiple testing teams. </li><li>Strong presentation skills through various formats. </li><li>Experience with OOS/OOT investigations, writing test methods, and problem-solving. </li><li>Leadership skills are essential, with experience in mentoring and team leadership roles. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a Monday to Friday role with hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering a flexible start time post-training to cover core hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Once fully trained, there is an option for one work-from-home day. The position involves desk work, with 10% of time standing or walking and 90% sitting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as lab coats, gloves, eye protection, and safety shoes are required.
