<p>Overview</p> <p>Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, the Trimmer is responsible for trimming, flaming, finishing plastic parts and sorting/counting order qauntities.</p> <p>3rd Shift Hours (10pm- 6am, Sunday - Thursday)</p> <p>Benefits of working for Metalcraft:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Paid Holidays & Vacation </li><li>Air Conditioned Facility </li><li>$2 Shift Differential for 2nd/3rd Shift </li><li>Advancement Opportunities </li><li>Free Health Clinic </li><li>On-the-job training </li><li>AND MORE! </li></ul> <p>$1000 Signing Bonus!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Trim excess plastic from parting lines. </li><li>Inspect product and communicate findings back to the machine operators. </li><li>Assemble product in accordance with the specific work instructions. </li><li>Data entry and basic computer functions. </li><li>Select correct hand tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance. </li><li>Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations. </li><li>Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system. </li><li>Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance. </li><li>Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues. </li><li>Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team. </li><li>Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level. </li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A High School diploma or GED Equivalent is preferred. </li><li>Previous experience working within a highly technical environment. </li><li>Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Job Expectations</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, and transport product and materials short distances. </li><li>Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team-environment. </li><li>Ability to work safely and without injury with hand tools in an environment with metal and sharp objects. </li><li>Must have strong metal grinding, forming and basic fabrication background. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure online manuals. </li><li>Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats. </li><li>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools. </li><li>Demonstrated competency in basic shop math. </li><li>Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids. </li><li>Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance. </li><li>Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change. </li><li>Work in an efficient and timely manner. </li><li>Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently. </li><li>Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task. </li></ul> <p>Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:Minorities, Women, Veterans, Disabilities</p> <p>PM17</p>
