Responsibilities include supervising lunch and recess and accompanying students to specials (art, music). Experience working with grades K - 3 students is necessary and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices is desirable. Other tasks as needed to support classroom instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher.</p> <p>Supervised By:</p> <p>Special Education Supervisor and/or the School Principal.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>High school diploma. Two years of higher education preferred.</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. Starting Salary $16.35/hr.
