<p>Title: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR / PROFESSOR - CLINICAL, OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY</p> <p>Employee Type: Faculty</p> <p>Department: Obstetrics and Gynecology</p> <p>Campus Location: OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY</p> <p>Job Summary/Basic Functions</p> <p>The LSU Health Sciences Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking applications for an academic faculty position to serve as Residency Program Director position at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (clinical, non-tenure track). In addition to administrative duties, this candidate will provide clinical coverage in obstetrics and gynecology and relevant specialties, as appropriate and based on training. Qualified candidates will be very familiar with quality and safety initiatives and will ideally have experience with managing residency programs and schedules The Residency Program Director will participate in departmental and hospital committees and activities as outlined by the Department of OB/GYN Chair. The new Program Director will designate 50% of time to clinical work and 50% of time to the administrative duties as Program Director. Must be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before hire date.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education: MD or equivalent</p> <p>Certifications or Licenses Required: Board Certified in ObGyn; licensed to practice medicine in LA and credentialed with all required entities before hire date.</p> <p>Number of years required to perform the job: minimum of three years of educational and/or administrative experience</p> <p>Additional Information About Our School/Department</p> <p>Comprehensive benefits are available to eligible employees and their dependents including health, life, dental, and vision insurance; flexible spending accounts; retirement plans; generous annual and sick leave; 14 paid holidays per year; and an employee health primary care clinic.
