<p>Seeking a Montessori educator and teacher leader to guide the school through a period of growth and transition. This is a two-phase role within a teacher-leader model:</p> <p>Year 1 (2026-2027, 0.5 FTE): Focus on operations, enrollment/recruitment, and family engagement, in partnership with the current lead teacher. The school currently serves approximately 22 students.</p> <p>Year 2+: Transition into a full-time Teacher Leader, combining Upper Elementary (E2) classroom leadership with ongoing school leadership, as enrollment grows toward ~40 students.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Year 1 (0.5 FTE): Admin, Ops, and Recruitment</p> <p>Year 2+: Teacher Leader</p> <p>Lead classroom</p> <p>Oversee school operations, enrollment, and communications</p> <p>Compensation & Details</p> <p>Year 1: 0.5 FTE ($79,500 prorated)</p> <p>Year 2+: Full-time transition ($159,000)</p> <p>Benefits eligible position</p> <p>Qualifications: 3+ years of teaching experience preferred (Montessori or elementary strongly valued)</p> <p>Familiarity with the Montessori model</p> <p>Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills</p> <p>Experience in school leadership and operations</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Bilingual (Spanish strongly preferred)</p> <p>Montessori training (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) preferred or willingness to pursue certification</p> <p>Experience with enrollment and admissions</p> <p>Familiarity working in private school setting</p> <p>Salary Range: $79,500 to $159,000</p> <p>Description of Community: The Dahlia School of San Francisco offers an authentic, Montessori Spanish Immersion curriculum with a goal of bringing peace, joy and global mindedness to every child in our community.
