<p>The Hanover is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to play a key role in delivering a high-quality, employee-focused benefits experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure the seamless administration of our benefit programs while supporting the design, planning, and ongoing enhancement of our offerings. You will serve as a trusted resource, providing benefit plan interpretation, guidance, and counsel to Human Resources, employees, and managers. This position requires strong analytical and consulting skills, along with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights that drive effective decision-making and exceptional employee support. Success in this role requires a high level of attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to solving problems in a fast-paced environment. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Senior Benefits Analyst works closely with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution of benefit plan administration. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and planning of the benefits programs at the Hanover. This role is responsible for providing benefit plan interpretation, guidance, and counsel to others in Human Resources, employees, and managers. This role utilizes strong analytical and consulting skills to deliver high quality benefits support. This is a full-time, exempt role. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:</p> <p>Provides consultation on Health and Welfare and Retirement Benefit matters, including but not limited to ERISA appeals, interpretation of plan documents, claims resolutions and administrative challenges Responsible for maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements, including ongoing assessment of evolving benefits compliance changes Evaluates market trends and data to ensure competitiveness of benefits programs Analyzes and ensures effectiveness of benefits programs and recommends changes or improvements Responsible for partnering with multiple vendors and brokers on benefits escalated issues, claims resolutions and ongoing benefits related activities Participates in business system requirements for benefits enrollment and other benefits related systems as well as benefits systems audits, testing and vendor integration file feed issues Trains HR Call center on benefits escalations with overall responsibility for assisting employees with complex escalated benefits issues Provides recommendations on how best to streamline and improve processes through various methods (e.g., system enhancements, communications, education and content, vendor capabilities, etc.) Assists in the development of recommended policy changes or new benefits programs. Prepares and delivers presentations concerning new benefits policies or programs. Plays a lead role in annual benefits events such as open enrollment Act as a key source of information for the business by providing perspective and consulting on all benefits matters Responsible for enterprise-wide HR project participation/management</p> <p>WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:</p> <p>5+ years of related benefits experience required Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience working with external benefit vendors and/or brokers Project management experience Advanced analytical skills utilizing excel Ability to operate under limited direction Strong critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to ever changing environment Highly collaborative and intellectually curious Excellent attention to detail Experience utilizing data and identifying trends Experience providing benefits consultation to the business and HR partners on health, welfare, and retirement related benefits matters Highly collaborative working style Must have the ability to prioritize effectively, be resourceful and perform tasks quickly and efficiently Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to stay current on and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Must have the ability to be flexible and easily adaptable to change</p>
