Take advantage of our tuition assistance and scholarship programs to grow both personally and professionally.</p> <p>New Grad RN Critical Care Position Summary</p> <p>The Critical Care division encompasses ICU and ICU Stepdown (PCU or IMC). The IMC and PCU RN are responsible for managing high acuity patients who are often too critical for a medical/surgical floor but may not require an ICU level of care. The Critical Care team is skilled in caring for populations such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post open-heart procedures, continuous cardiac infusions, and those requiring acute continuous non-invasive ventilation (i.e. BiPAP/CPAP), and invasive ventilation in the ICU setting only. These patients require continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring and the RN will be prepared to intervene quickly to any changes in hemodynamics or respiratory demands. The RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating an individualized plan of care for their patients while serving as an advocate and educator to patients and their families. The Intermediate Care unit (IMC) is a fast-paced, teamwork driven environment providing high acuity care to critically ill patients.</p> <p>New Grad RN Critical Care Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency. </li><li>American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Life Support (ACLS) </li><li>NIH Stroke Scale Certification </li></ul> <p>New Grad RN Critical Care Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy. </li><li>Required to work rotating weekends per unit need. </li><li>Expected to work overtime on occasion. </li></ul> <p>New Grad RN Critical Care Benefits</p> <ul> <li>At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. </li><li>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $33.00 - $52.80 Commensurate with experience</p>
