Who knows where our shared journey will take you?</p> <p>Transform the everyday with us</p> <p>The Industrial Sales Manager of Heavy Industry Markets for Digital Industries Automation will create and execute the vertical industry strategy for key U.S. markets like Metals, Heavy Machinery, Water/Waste Water, and Marine. The role will drive growth and satisfaction for customers and employees. A successful candidate will have a strong leadership track record and the ability to work with key stakeholders to build trust and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in one or more of these verticals and will report to the Head of Vertical Sales within the Digital Industries Sales organization. This position can work any place in the US as long as the person lives near a major airport.</p> <p>We are looking for a Industrial Sales Manager of Heavy Industry Markets. This position will be based regionally within the United States.</p> <p>You'll make an impact by:</p> <ul> <li>Marketing and Strategy Coordination: Participate in marketing and research efforts, lead strategy development, and coordinate with business units, sales teams, and other functions to align on strategic and tactical goals. </li><li>Go-to-Market Strategy: Work with the Vertical Sales Head to create, implement, and monitor a U.S.-focused strategy that drives growth in orders and increases industrial market share. </li><li>Market Analysis: Continuously analyze the vertical market to identify potential threats and opportunities and recommend and implement changes to strategies and offerings based on customer needs. </li><li>Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market demands, providing feedback to guide the company's strategic direction and portfolio development. </li><li>Growth Opportunity Assessment: Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and prioritize potential growth opportunities. </li><li>Customer Relationship Development: Build relationships with customers, peer sales teams, and marketing teams to understand customer needs and translate those into actionable plans. </li><li>Strategic Collaboration: Work with business unit leaders to align on strategies and approaches for large, strategic opportunities with top-tier clients in the industrial market. </li><li>Industry Representation: Represent Siemens at industry events, networking with executives, clients, and other key players to enhance business relationships and opportunities. </li><li>Market Share Growth: Drive initiatives to increase Siemens' market share in industrial verticals and accounts. </li><li>Differentiation and Growth Planning: Develop strategies focused on digitalization and strategic solutions to differentiate Siemens DI USA and drive growth with target clients. </li></ul> <p>You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Industrial Clients: 8+ years experience in selling to and marketing for industrial clients in one or more of the Metals, Heavy Machinery, Water/Waste Water or Marine industries. Including a good understanding their buying processes. </li><li>Executive Leadership & Communication: 5+ years of management experience, leveraging strong leadership skills, along with the ability to negotiate, influence, and communicate effectively (both written and oral) with internal teams and external contacts. </li><li>Industrial Automation Knowledge: 2+ years experience understanding and/or working with, industrial automation products, including hardware, software, products, solutions, and services. </li><li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Metals industry experience </li><li>Results-Driven: Demonstrated success in achieving results in challenging customer environments. </li><li>Opportunity Identification: Proven ability to spot opportunities and turn them into commercial solutions. </li><li>Decisive & Strategic: Confidence in making decisions and setting objectives for key issues. </li><li>Problem-Solving & Data Utilization: Experience solving complex problems and using data and analytics to create effective, adaptive business strategies. </li><li>Goal Achievement: Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding goals, both individually and through team efforts. </li><li>Influencing Without Authority: Comfortable motivating and influencing resources, even when you don't have direct authority over them. </li><li>Navigating Complex Organizations: Strong ability to navigate both Siemens' internal structure and the organizational dynamics of strategic industrial clients. </li></ul> <p>You'll benefit from:</p> <ul> <li>Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
