<p>LCSC Occupational Therapist Position</p> <p>General Description of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Assess and develop individualized therapy plans for students with diverse needs. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development. </li><li>Conduct evaluations to determine student progress and adjust plans as necessary. </li><li>Provide direct therapy services and monitor outcomes. </li><li>Implement interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.Top of Form </li></ul> <p>Special Skills, Training or Aptitudes Required or Desire:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. </li><li>Valid Indiana Occupational Therapy license. </li><li>Experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred. </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills. </li><li>Ability to create and maintain detailed records and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Physical and Mental Efforts:</p> <ul> <li>This position requires a high level of physical and mental endurance </li><li>Sitting in an office/classroom environment, performing tasks on a computer or other technical devices. </li><li>Frequent standing, particularly for sustained periods of time </li><li>Frequent walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one part of the building to another. </li><li>Constantly talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas to colleagues and/or students accurately, loudly, or quickly </li><li>Ability to hear and listen to detailed information through oral communication. </li><li>Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
