<p>Description</p> <p>Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening at our Layton Antelope A location for a full-time Speech Therapist/Pathologist trained in voice and swallowing therapy.</p> <p>Essential Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat voice, upper airway, and swallowing disorders </li><li>Provide clinical services and appropriate documentation and billing, utilizing standard of care, and evidence-based practices, with appropriate goals, duration and intensity of service for each patient's needs </li><li>Maintain effective and appropriate communication and relationships with other professionals, patients, families, and other caregivers </li><li>Communicate and coordinate care effectively with referring providers and also refer patients for related services </li><li>Ability to provide counseling and supportive guidance regarding the patients progress and needs to the patient, family, caregiver and/or significant others </li><li>Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Education must be obtained from an accredited program. </li><li>Degree will be verified </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in evaluating and treating voice, upper airway, and swallowing disorders </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current state Speech Pathologist license </li><li>Current Certificate of Clinical Competence </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers </li><li>Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing and email) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Completed a clinical fellowship in voice and swallowing disorders </li><li>Experience performing and interpreting FEES and MBS </li><li>Experience performing and interpreting videostroboscopy </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Office environment</p>
