<p>Job Description</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for all functions of feed manufacturing and delivery. Maximize efficiencies daily </li><li>Hiring, developing and maintaining a team of employees for the production and delivery of feed </li><li>Manage location risk including implementation and compliance with FSMA standards, ongoing safety site inspections to manage quality control standards and procedures set by management. </li><li>Ensuring lock out tag out and all safety procedures followed daily. </li><li>Managing ingredient receivers and entering inventory into Feed Mill Manager </li><li>Managing inventory quality, purchasing, and shrink on a daily basis </li><li>Manage and oversee facility assets with routine maintenance. Driver equipment inspections properly documented for operation and safety. </li><li>Maintain six months of retained samples of incoming and outgoing ingredients and feeds by load or batch </li><li>Ability and willingness to work as business conditions warrant or as deemed necessary </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years supervising an operations team </li><li>Experience with lock out tag out </li><li>Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and ability to effectively utilize company specific technology platforms </li><li>Must be a team player and responsible for demonstrating and maintaining a professional working environment and facility </li><li>Ability and desire to solve problems </li><li>Detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written </li><li>Demonstrate essential abilities including personnel management, communications, customer focus decision making, and drive results </li><li>Financial knowledge including reading and understanding financial statements </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li></ul>
