<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Cardiac Procedures Unit is currently seeking a full-time Sheath Puller to join its established team. Our mission is guided by our Strategic Principles and has three critical components: patient care, education and research that together enhance our contribution to society.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <p>Duties include but are not limited to: direct patient care including monitoring and removal of various and arterial sheaths, transporting patients, vital signs, assisting patients in and out of bed, and answering call lights. Other duties include EKG's, Accuchecks, cleaning equipment, stocking of supplies, performing daily QA on testing equipment and emergency equipment.</p> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>1-2 years of recent experience as a Nurse Aide/ICU Tech in a hospital setting. </li><li>Vocational training in Health Care of College level courses in Health Care. </li><li>Understands and demonstrates the core concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care (PFCC), including: Respect and Dignity, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Certification as an EMT, CNA or MA preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>40 hours (4 10hr shifts), full-time. Monday through Friday. Day shift hours; 6a-430p </li></ul> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
