<p>Position Title: Tier 2 LAN-WiFi-Voice Network Engineer</p> <p>Location: Raleigh, NC - Onsite, with day a week Remote</p> <p>Clearance Requirements: Yes - Public Trust</p> <p>Driving required: No</p> <p>Position Status: Contract to Hire</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Perform LMR radio programming and configuration using Radio Management Software, including codeplug management</p> <p>Advise stakeholders on radio configurations, system updates, and best practices to improve performance and usability</p> <p>Coordinate with LMR vendors, service providers, and project management teams to resolve incidents and support initiatives</p> <p>Produce and deliver monthly radio inventory and configuration reports, including device type, model, and codeplug details</p> <p>Develop and maintain technical documentation covering system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting</p> <p>Support the creation and analysis of user and local agency surveys to drive system improvements</p> <p>Ensure LMR and radio equipment comply with FCC regulations and organizational technical standards</p> <p>Support LAN, Wi-Fi, and voice network environments as they relate to radio communications systems</p> <p>Required Experience:</p> <p>8+ years of hands-on experience</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. NOTE: Four (4) years' additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree</p> <p>Required skills:</p> <p>Must Have Hands-on experience supporting Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems:</p> <p>Motorola radio management 2.157.149.0 Using Motorola R7/R5</p> <p>Legacy equipment XPR7550E/3550</p> <p>Must have working knowledge of said equipment</p> <p>Online Motorola training would be a plus</p> <p>Strong knowledge of radio programming, codeplugs, and radio management software</p> <p>Must be able to configure Motorola radios and set up Motorola radio management</p> <p>Tier 2 support experience in LAN, Wi-Fi, and voice network environments</p> <p>Familiarity with FCC compliance requirements for radio and wireless systems</p> <p>Experience coordinating with telecom vendors, service providers, and project managers</p> <p>Ability to produce clear, well-structured technical documentation and reports</p> <p>Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills</p> <p>Experience supporting large enterprise or government environments preferred</p> <p>Seneca Resources:</p> <p>At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm - we are a trusted career partner.
