A Rental Specialist utilizes technical expertise to respond to our customer's rental requests, recommend rental product solutions, provide pricing solutions to win the business while ensuring profitability and ensure timely execution of the customer's rental requirements. Provide detailed technical details to the customers through thorough understanding of their work requirements and diverse product knowledge of all machines and work tools. </li><li>Prepare rental agreements with accurate pricing, collect insurance and credit releases. Reserve equipment accurately and communicate the execution plan across all stakeholders of every rental. Customer, sales, service, credit, shipping. </li><li>Active engagement in driving awareness and adoption of rental options through regional sales force including on-going contribution to business unit's marketing/promotion activities. </li><li>Assist sales/credit departments with accounts receivable collections/issues and unpaid customer damage collections. </li></ul> <p>Must-haves for this role:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Post-Secondary Education with experience in a customer facing role</p> </li><li> <p>Highly safety conscious with at least 3 years' of hands-on experience around heavy equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge/experienced with heavy construction equipment product/industry an asset; Heavy Equipment Rental industry experience also an asset.</p> </li><li> <p>A strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to deal with all levels</p> </li><li> <p>Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Applications</p> </li><li> <p>Must be willing to travel within assigned region and elsewhere as required;</p> </li></ul> <p>About Toromont Cat</p> <p>With over 7,000 employees and 56 locations from Manitoba to Newfoundland, Toromont Cat has a proven track record, industry knowledge, dealership infrastructure, and service mindset to ensure our Construction, Mining, and Power Generation customers succeed.
