If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester</p> <p>_<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Purpose: As part of the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences team, the Social Media Coordinator and Student Ambassador will contribute to the Mount's efforts to attract, engage, and retain students through online channels and interaction with prospective students.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Department chair and SLHS faculty with managing a social media content calendar, creating posts and event announcements, monitoring conversations about MSJ, and measuring the effectiveness of overall efforts. </li><li>Coordinated content on a minimum biweekly basis with established weekly outreach activities </li><li>Support the faculty and department with activities that support student engagement, retention, and satisfaction </li><li>Coordinate data collection as directed by the Department Chair, Program Coordinator, and faculty </li><li>Assist with marketing opportunities to help promote the SLHS and Master of Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) programs. </li><li>Conduct outreach activities to current university applicants and answer questions via email, by phone, via scheduled Zoom information sessions, and by text message using the Department's social media accounts to highlight the activities of the department. </li><li>Gather and interpret relevant social media and recruitment data and metrics. </li><li>This position may require consultation with members of the University Communications team and frequent work with other members of the campus community. </li><li>Will require physical presence for weekly activities </li></ul>
