<p>Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining applications using a variety of technologies that support multiple lines of Business and IT initiatives.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of applications including:</p> </li><li> <p>System and data analysis, architecture and design.</p> </li><li> <p>Data integration and workflow design.</p> </li><li> <p>Software development, configuration and customization.</p> </li><li> <p>Determines technical system specifications based on project requirements, including input/output requirements, file structure, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Understands Agile methodology and instills best practices into the process.</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of software development with emphasis on applications development.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of web services, ESB, SOA, distributed and interoperability - understanding of web service protocols such as SOAP and REST.</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on experience with Java, XML, HTTP, JS.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with RDBMS, SQL.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent analytical ability.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in team environment while possessing individual accountability.</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly assure the quality of completed work.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stay on task and meet deadlines for repetitive duties.</p> </li></ul> <p>Special Note:</p> <ul> <li>Military Veterans and their spouses are encouraged to apply. </li></ul>
