<p>Kforce has a client in need of an Application Analyst located in Boston, MA.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform system analysis across the full SDLC for the transit scheduling and operations application, including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and support </li><li>Document functional and technical specifications for system changes and enhancements </li><li>Configure application components, define foundational data elements, and manage version control </li><li>Maintain technical documentation </li><li>Provide 2nd-level support for application issues, escalating to IT teams or vendors as needed </li><li>Manage user access provisioning and environment configurations </li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot batch processes; run ad-hoc queries and reports </li><li>Support QA with application behavior clarifications for test script creation </li><li>Handle sensitive information appropriately and respond professionally to inquiries </li><li>Participate in on-call rotation and work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends </li><li>Perform related duties and projects as assigned* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience </li><li>3+ years in application support, system analysis, or IT operations </li><li>Knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies </li><li>Experience with application configuration and data management </li><li>Ability to write and execute SQL queries and generate reports </li><li>Familiarity with batch processing and job scheduling tools </li><li>Understanding of system integrations and troubleshooting </li><li>Experience with release management and environment setup </li><li>Knowledge of IT infrastructure components </li><li>Strong problem-solving and documentation skills </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information </li><li>Willingness to work on-call and flexible shifts, including nights/weekends </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment </li></ul>
