<p>Availability</p> <p>Substitute must work no less than 1 day a month.</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Substitute must be able and willing to work at any of the listed schools, Staunton River High, Staunton River Middle, Goodview Elementary, Stewartsville Elementary, Moneta Elementary or Huddleston Elementary Schools.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>To enable each child/student to pursue an education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of his/her regular teacher.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <ul> <li>Reports to the School Office upon arrival at school to sign-in. </li><li>Reviews with the substitute plans, attendance forms, and schedules to be followed during the teaching day and will contact the office with questions. </li><li>Teaches the lessons outlined in the absent teacher's lesson plan. </li><li>Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practices dictates. </li><li>Assumes responsibility for pupil behavior in class during lunch and recess periods, and during fire of other disaster drills. </li><li>Lists assignments made and evaluates student's work. </li><li>Performs such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal. </li></ul> <p>Job Specifications</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
