<p>We are currently looking for a Substation Physical Engineer with 5 + years' experience.</p> <p>The Building Engineering Division at LaBella provides complete building engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering. Services range from feasibility studies and analysis through project design and construction. Our engineers are well versed in new construction, renovations, additions, analysis, special structures, and design/build projects for a variety of clients.</p> <p>This role can accelerate your career goals through immediate opportunities to lead, and comes with a competitive starting salary, incentive compensation, a comprehensive benefit package, and opportunities to become a LaBella shareholder.</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <ul> <li>Design the following portions of substations: </li><li>Control building (relay panels, facilities, cable raceways, trays, etc.) </li><li>Busbar and strain bus </li><li>Equipment & support structures </li><li>Assembly drawings </li><li>Cables and connectors </li><li>Lightning protection and lighting </li><li>Grounding grid </li><li>Conduit and trenches Perform calculations such as: </li><li>Grounding </li><li>Lighting and lightning </li><li>Cable ampacity </li><li>Assist project manager to develop scope of work and conceptual design for the projects; </li><li>Communicate and coordinate project activities with project manager, client, and others as needed; </li></ul>
