<p>Pro Signs, a 77-year-old signage and branding company based in Downingtown, PA, is expanding and seeking to add a part-time Safety Compliance Assistant to our team.</p> <p>As one of the largest full-service sign companies in the Mid-Atlantic, Pro Signs specializes in regional and national account work as well as local architectural signage projects. As the Safety Compliance Assistant for Pro Signs, you will be responsible for assisting the HR and Safety Officer to keep the company safe and compliant.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with daily safety walkthroughs in the production area </li><li>Involvement with multiple Safety Committees </li><li>DOT, IFTA and vehicle registration maintenance </li><li>Fire extinguisher and fire exit monthly maintenance </li><li>Keeping OSHA logs and other safety compliance logs up to date </li><li>Coordinate inspections as needed </li><li>Coordinate and conduct monthly employee safety trainings </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in workplace safety and employee safety training </li><li>Familiarity with OSHA and other safety standards. </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail for accuracy </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Valid Driver's license </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) </li><li>Experience in or basic knowledge of Signage / Construction preferred </li></ul> <p>This is position is hourly, part-time and in office.
