<p>Description</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and develop detailed site plans for substations, including grading, drainage, and stormwater management systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform calculations for cut-and-fill, stormwater runoff, and soil stability to support site preparation.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare erosion control and support the generation of stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) in compliance with local and federal regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Design and develop detailed gravel access road design for substation access.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce site grading designs and drawings.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with structural, electrical, and environmental teams to align site designs with project requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Support geotechnical investigations and surveys to ensure project design requirements are captured.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare technical reports, construction specifications, and material takeoffs.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with construction and project management to ensure successful project execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage project schedules and budgets, maintaining a focus on timely and cost-effective delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports new project proposals including scope definition, project labor estimates, and project pricing.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program and 3 years of civil engineering experience required. Consulting preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Or Bachelor's Degree in Civil or related Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program, successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and 3 years of civil engineering experience required. Consulting preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and 2 years of civil engineering experience required.
