About the Role We#re looking for a dedicated Patient Financial Services Customer Service Assoc.,#to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you#ll be a vital part of our team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. What You#ll Do You#ll be responsible for customer service duties, including greeting customers, answering and directing incoming calls as well as performing skip tracing and insurance information follow-up.# You#ll assist#and solve#customer issues within department guidelines and policy. #Duties will also include#compiling reports and preparing FINNOT (Final Notice) for mailing, financial assistance renewal letters and applications, and collecting and posting payments from customers and mail.# You#ll apply#self-pay discounts according to our policy and process self-pay refunds, including all documentation necessary for refunds.# You#ll work different reports out of Meditech, screen#patients for Medicaid eligibility by looking on EPACES.##You#ll distribute#mail, work returned mail and attorney requests.# You#ll also be#responsible for office supply inventory. Assists with other tasks assigned by management or financial counselors.
