<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Under supervision of the Operations Manager and according to established policies and procedures,</p> <p>Provides direct patient assessment and management in the BMC Stress Testing Laboratories and/or Cardiac Rehabilitation & Prevention Program.</p> <p>Position: Exercise Physiology Technician</p> <p>Department: Heart Station</p> <p>Schedule: Full Time</p> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field (or equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience).</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Minimum of three months in a hospital setting as an exercise physiologist or in Cardiac Rehab setting</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p> <p>Work requires knowledge to effectively utilize the Electrocardiograph, and stress testing procedures, medical terminology and basic sciences such as Physics, Math, Anatomy and Physiology.</p> <p>Good interpersonal skills to explain procedures to patient, and alleviate apprehensions, as well as effectively interact with physicians, fellows, nursing, etc. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans</p> <p>According to the FTC, there has been a rise in employment offer scams.
