<p>Territory Sales Representative</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding heavy equipment sales across the state of Colorado. You will work closely with both municipalities and industrial contractors to understand their equipment needs and provide tailored equipment solutions from our extensive and best-in-class product line up.</p> <p>TERRITORY: Colorado, USA</p> <p>COMPENSATION:</p> <p>1st Year of Employment - $90,000.00-$110,000.00 guaranteed</p> <p>2nd Year of Employment+ - Base salary + uncapped commission</p> <p>Company truck, laptop, cell phone and fuel card provided</p> <p>Premium healthcare benefits</p> <p>Paid vacation and paid personal days</p> <p>401(k) matching program</p> <p>ABOUT YOU:</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional sales and customer service skills </li><li>Self-starter motivated to achieve sales targets </li><li>Excellent communicator </li><li>Passion for equipment </li><li>Collaborative with internal business partners </li><li>Strong prospecting and hunting skills </li><li>Proven track record of strong sales performance </li><li>Ability to travel and work within a flexible schedule as required </li></ul> <p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>College degree or diploma preferred </li><li>Commercial Driver's License in good standing or willingness to obtain, preferred </li><li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in an outside sales position, preferably in the heavy equipment or heavy truck industry </li><li>Experience operating or selling hydro vac equipment is an asset </li><li>Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs </li><li>Experience and understanding of the full sales cycle </li><li>Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck work environment is an asset </li><li>Understanding of the municipal procurement processes (i.e. RFP, tenders) </li><li>Understanding of industrial operations </li></ul> <p>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assess the territory to understand the market and identify customer opportunities </li><li>Develop a strategic territory sales plan in collaboration with manager and identify key target accounts </li><li>Connect with existing customers to establish positive relationships and understand current and future equipment requirements </li><li>Manage the full cycle sales process (product quote to product delivery) </li><li>Participate in product training to stay on top of product knowledge </li><li>Provide training and product demonstrations to customers to showcase equipment and highlight key selling features </li><li>Partner with internal partners such as Inside Sales and Service teams to ensure efficient and positive customer experiences throughout the sales cycle </li><li>Provide recommendations to customers based on equipment requirements which may include selling of new or used equipment and/or offering rental solutions </li><li>Utilize the CRM in alignment with internal procedures to report sales activities, capture customer/market information and to track all sales opportunities </li><li>Participate in sales team meetings as required </li><li>Attend and coordinate regional trade shows </li><li>Attain and maintain sales certification for primary products/brands </li><li>Complete required administrative tasks in a timely manner such as expense reports and territory updates </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>OTHER DETAILS</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Primarily heavy equipment/ heavy truck customer environment </li><li>Some office/computer work </li></ul> <p>Travel Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Travel frequently within the territory </li></ul> <p>WHO WE ARE:</p> <p>As the leading distributor of public works equipment, Joe Johnson Equipment (JJE) provides mobile infrastructure-maintenance equipment to municipalities and contractors across Canada and the US.
