By closely collaborating with students, teachers, parents, administrative staff, and community partners, the Principal fosters a positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment that aligns with the school's mission and vision.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and Supervision or equivalent required. </li><li>Valid State of Michigan administrative certification. </li><li>Valid State of Michigan teacher certification. </li><li>Minimum of seven years of successful educational experience, including at least two years in administration. </li><li>Demonstrated ability and desire to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, parents, and the broader community. </li><li>Proven experience leading school operations and driving academic achievement through data-driven strategies. </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise all administrative, instructional, and operational functions to ensure high-quality education in a positive and safe learning environment. </li><li>Foster open communication among students, parents, teachers, and community stakeholders. </li><li>Maintain consistent visibility on campus and at school-related events to strengthen community engagement. </li><li>Provide leadership in implementing Common Core Standards and preparing students for standardized assessments and college and career readiness. </li><li>Lead the development and execution of the School Improvement Plan, aligned with district-wide strategic goals. </li><li>Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and invoice management to support instructional and operational excellence. </li><li>Lead recruitment, evaluation, and professional growth of instructional and non-instructional staff, including regular classroom observations and constructive feedback. </li><li>Chair weekly Cabinet and staff meetings to maintain cohesive operations and instructional quality. </li><li>Direct school-wide data analysis to assess student achievement, inform instructional strategies, and guide continuous improvement initiatives. </li><li>Manage student discipline effectively, promoting a respectful and safe school climate according to established guidelines in the Student/Parent Handbook. </li><li>Coordinate school-wide compliance with safety protocols, including emergency response procedures and mandated drills. </li><li>Collaborate closely with campus safety, program evaluators, and district instructional specialists to enhance school effectiveness and compliance. </li><li>Engage actively with community and parental stakeholders, clearly articulating the school's vision, progress, and needs. </li><li>Attend and actively participate in monthly Board of Directors and Saginaw Valley State University meetings. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Chandler Park Academy?</p> <p>At Chandler Park Academy, we believe our team is our greatest asset.
