<p>Additional Information About the Role</p> <p>Barnes Jewish Hospital</p> <p>Patient Care Manager PACU Parkview Tower</p> <ul> <li>Lead a team of 50 direct reports </li><li>2 Assistant Nurse Managers </li><li>4-10 hour shifts, M-F </li><li>44 total pre/post bays </li><li>60-70 cases per day </li><li>Minimally invasive surgery, urology, colorectal, gynecology, bariatric, gender reaffirming, interventional radiology </li><li>BSN preferred </li><li>Supervisor/manager experience needed </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Role Purpose</p> <p>Responsible for the operational and clinical management of a designated patient care unit(s) on a 24 hour basis. Oversees a span of control and financial responsibility of > 40 FTEs supervised + > $1.5 million in total expenses OR > 24 FTEs supervised + > $3.5 million in total expenses.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets.
