<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The School of the Arts at Dean College is looking for dynamic, experienced, student-centered educators to teach in person assigned courses in Roots of Popular Music and Acting V: Period Drama during the Fall 2025 semester.</p> <p>The College seeks Adjunct Faculty who focus on experiential learning and active engagement in their classrooms. Adjuncts chosen to teach at Dean College create a compelling and professional learning environment for students of diverse learning backgrounds.</p> <p>All faculty will be expected to make active use of the learning management system Canvas at least at a minimum level established by the college. Adjunct faculty are expected to hold one office hour each week for each section they teach. The adjunct pay rate typically is $3,300 per section for a course that meets for the equivalent of three weekly contact hours per semester.</p> <p>The School of the Arts provides a course charter with course objectives and learning outcomes and sample syllabi. Adjunct Faculty in the School of the Arts are hired as needed, based on student enrollment. Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on short notice.
