Crofton Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering at Virginia Tech is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in the area of analytical aeroacoustics. The position is concerned primarily with the sound of unsteady vortex flows and their interactions with edges.</p> <p>The position requires a PhD in engineering or a related technical field, where prior research experiences in the analysis of aerodynamic noise, vortex sound, and/or wave scattering are highly valued. The postdoctoral scholar will benefit from the multidisciplinary and collaborative research culture of the Center for Research and Engineering in Aero/Hydrodynamics Technologies (CREATe) led from within the Department.
