<p>Summary of Position:</p> <p>The Supervisor Production Planning & Control manages the Production Planning and Control team daily. This position is responsible for the planning and, through coordination with leadership in other organizations, ensures the creation and maintenance of:</p> <ul> <li>Daily plans for Operations </li><li>Key metrics reporting on operations status </li><li>Constraint management and resolution </li><li>Procedural documentation of Production Planning activities </li><li>Critical Path, milestone, and sequencing creation and execution </li><li>Create and maintain 139,119 Plan </li><li>Analyze critical path, milestone and capacity requirements to refine daily Plans </li><li>Interface with manufacturing support groups and leadership to understand operational constraints and provide resolution </li><li>Coordinate with Work Analysis and Operations to forecast staffing requirements </li><li>Maintain WO process with Production Control Team </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>% of</p> <p>Time</p> <p>1.</p> <p>Supervise and provide guidance to Production Planning/Control Team</p> <p>35%</p> <p>2.</p> <p>Coordinate parts issuance process from warehouse to floor to accomplish daily plan</p> <p>10%</p> <p>3.</p> <p>Ensure creation and issuance of daily and weekly reports to include: status of aircraft progress, cost, adherence to schedule, etc</p> <p>10%</p> <p>4.</p> <p>Create and maintain 139,119 Operational Plans including Build Up</p> <p>10%</p> <p>5.</p> <p>Assist with creation of and maintenance of production planning procedural documentation</p> <p>5%</p> <p>6.</p> <p>Ensure Optimal Utilization of Personnel and Materials to Meet Operational</p> <p>Plan (Includes Manpower Forecast, Critical Segment Analysis,</p> <p>Work Flow Prioritization, etc.)</p> <p>10%</p> <p>7.</p> <p>Interact with Material Planning group (for parts availability) and clearance of any</p> <p>Shortage delays, and escalates critical parts to Materials and Procurement Management.</p> <p>10%</p> <p>8.</p> <p>Analyze critical path, milestone, and sequencing requirements to develop</p> <p>plans to achieve Program Operational schedule goals</p> <p>10%</p> <p>TOTAL:</p> <p> 100% </p> <p>Qualifications for Position:</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (required)</p> <p>Combination of relevant education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>5 - 7 years Operations (production, scheduling, warehouse, materials management) experience</p> <p>Competencies & Attributes</p> <p>1.</p> <p>Microsoft Excel and Power point</p> <p>2.</p> <p>SAP</p> <p>3.</p> <p>Problem Solving and analysis</p> <p>4.</p> <p>Strong communication and presentation skills</p>
