<p>Burr & Forman, an Am Law 200 firm with over 370 attorneys, seeks a dynamic and motivated Marketing Coordinator to advance the firm's marketing and business development strategy. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and is ideally located in Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Columbia, SC; Nashville, TN; or Tampa, FL but other office locations may be considered.</p> <p>The Marketing Coordinator position is ideal for a proactive marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships across all levels of an organization, and is eager to take ownership of meaningful, firmwide initiatives.</p> <p>MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS</p> <p>Attorney Onboarding</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate the development of marketing assets for new attorneys, including biographies, headshots, and business cards. </li></ul> <p>Digital Marketing</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for website updates, including attorney profiles, practice and industry descriptions, insights, events, and news. </li><li>Support event-related email marketing campaigns, including drafting and deployment. </li><li>Drive the firm's social media activity, including creating and scheduling posts. </li></ul> <p>Collateral & Promotional Materials</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Marketing Specialist with the maintenance and organization of all printed and digital collateral, including ads, one-pagers, and signage. </li><li>Oversee the sourcing and fulfillment of promotional item (SWAG) requests. </li></ul> <p>Special Projects</p> <ul> <li>Assist with implementation of new programs and initiatives as needed by the firm's Marketing and Business Development Team. </li><li>Other responsibilities as needed. </li></ul> <p>THE ESSENTIALS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications preferred. Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. </li><li>2+ years of applicable marketing or agency experience. Prior law firm marketing experience or professional services industry experience is a bonus. </li><li>Ability to write clear and compelling content appropriate for both print and digital platforms; experience writing for professional services or B2B audience is ideal. </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and work efficiently under the pressure of meeting multiple deadlines with frequent interruptions. </li><li>Experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Illustrator. </li><li>Experience with project management and email marketing platforms a bonus. </li><li>Proactive and solution-oriented, enthusiastic, approachable, and flexible. </li><li>Some overtime may be required </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</p> <p>Burr & Forman's experienced legal team serves clients with local, national, and international legal needs.
