We are seeking a passionate and dedicated elementary teacher to join our dynamic team. A successful candidate can:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement engaging lesson that align with curriculum standards and promote literacy skills development </li><li>Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports differentiated learning needs and encourages student participation </li><li>Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development </li><li>Integrate technology and diverse resources to enhance learning experiences </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Dual NYS certification preferred: Elementary/Childhood Education </li><li>NYSED Fingerprint Clearance* </li></ul> <p>Employment Terms:</p> <ul> <li>10 month, full time probationary position </li><li>Salary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $62,620 - $86,668, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. Internal transfers will maintain their step and salary placement. </li><li>Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law §§305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
