<p>POSITION: Substitute Teacher</p> <p>SALARY: Beginning at $125 per day</p> <p>Daily pay rates for certified substitutes are as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Days 1-30: $125 per day </li><li>Days 31-60: $140 per day </li><li>Day 61 and beyond: $220 per day </li></ul> <p>Please note: The count of days worked resets at the beginning of each school year for pay rate purposes.</p> <p>To further support you, substitutes (certified and classified) who complete five days of work during the school year will be eligible for reimbursement of the following expenses:</p> <ul> <li>BCI/FBI Background Check: Up to $80 </li><li>Substitute Teaching License: $25 </li></ul> <p>Important: Substitutes must initiate the reimbursement process directly.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid and appropriate Ohio Department of Education Licensure </li><li>Excellent organization and communication skills </li><li>Genuine desire to support efforts to achieve the district vision: Preparing, inspiring, and empowering all students to achieve success </li></ul> <p>In accordance with State law, the Rossford Board of Education requires a criminal background check through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) records for each applicant the Superintendent recommends for employment.</p> <p>It is the policy of the Board of Education of the Rossford School District that no candidate for a position in this District shall be discriminated against based on race, color, religion, national origin or citizenship status, creed or ancestry, age, gender, marital status, non-disqualifying disability, height, or other protected categories.</p>
