<p>Title: Senior Data Management Analyst</p> <p>Location: 1525 W W T Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC</p> <p>Duration: 6 months</p> <p>Work Engagement: W2</p> <p>Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote</p> <p>Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Finance Data Management Office (FDMO) drives Finance's data strategy, governance standards, and data-risk management practices. The team partners closely with the Chief Data Office (CDO), Technology, and Finance sub-domains to ensure data used for regulatory reporting, analysis, and business processes is accurate, trusted, and well-governed.</p> <p>We are seeking a senior data management professional with strong execution capability, domain knowledge in Finance data, and proven leadership across complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role requires a balance of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and hands-on delivery in a highly regulated environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Data Governance, Risk, and Control Execution</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead enterprise-scale data management initiatives to improve data quality, integrity, and usability across Finance processes and regulatory reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Assess current-state data, metadata, and quality conditions; develop risk-based remediation recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure new business and technology initiatives include appropriate data management controls and risk requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive implementation of data quality and metadata improvements across systems, processes, and business domains.</p> </li></ul> <p>Initiative Leadership</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage delivery outcomes, risks, and dependencies for complex initiatives with high visibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Make informed decisions in multifaceted, ambiguous scenarios requiring deep understanding of Finance data and governance standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead project teams, influence cross-functional partners, and mentor less experienced staff on best practices.</p> </li></ul> <p>Regulatory, Reporting, and Oversight Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee analysis and reporting activities supporting regulatory, audit, and risk management expectations.</p> </li><li> <p>Support issue identification, validation, remediation planning, and sustainable closure of corrective actions.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Data Product Owners, Technology, Risk, Audit, and Finance stakeholders to ensure compliance and data governance alignment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Engagement</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a primary data management partner for Finance stakeholders, including RAU owners, product teams, and application owners.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide data quality and governance recommendations to senior leaders.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the Finance Data Domain in cross-functional and enterprise governance forums.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive cross-organizational alignment on data solutions, governance approaches, and remediation strategies.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project/Program Management (or equivalent through education, training, or military service).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Audit, Risk, Compliance, or Controls.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience executing, reviewing, or assuring controls within business processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in financial services or financial services consulting.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to synthesize complex information and recommend strategic solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong executive-level communication skills (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Effective influencing skills in a matrixed environment (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of metadata management and data lineage tools (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with databases, ETL, and cloud data platforms (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Jira, SDLC, and data integration processes (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using generative/agentic AI tools; strong prompt-engineering skills (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>SQL and Python experience (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in regulatory reporting, risk, audit, or control functions (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of financial services regulatory requirements (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to partner effectively with Technology, Risk, and Control teams (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced MS Office proficiency (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and clear communication of risks and recommendations (preferred)</p> </li></ul>
