<p>The Industrial Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising plant Industrial Engineers and reports to the plant Industrial Engineering Manager. The IE Supervisor will interact with management to develop hourly and salary staffing plans and lead actions to achieve productivity objectives. The person in this position interacts with production management and union leadership daily on all matters relating to staffing requirements. The Supervisor also supports development of direct and indirect labor budgets with corporate industrial engineering teams as well as performs indirect labor and ergonomics studies with plant Industrial Engineers. This position will assist in planning/adjusting manpower according to assembly plants' production schedules, building plant budget and forecasting yearly manpower needs. The IE Supervisor supports Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) and new program system design reviews and optimization and is expected to support the IE Manager with the day-to-day management of shop floor activities.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology </li><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Demonstrated experience with time and motion studies, development of standardized work and standard data </li><li>Understanding of manufacturing systems </li><li>Demonstrated the ability to apply throughput improvement processes </li><li>Practical knowledge and understanding of traditional lean manufacturing systems </li><li>Data collection, root cause analysis and practical problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to lead a team and give clear directions </li><li>Ability to learn new things and develop new methods and processes for stamping environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Industrial Engineering </li><li>MTM-UAS or MODAPTS certification </li><li>Experience working in a union environment </li><li>Supervisory experience </li><li>Knowledge of Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) principles </li><li>Knowledge/experience with AutoCAD, systems and Microsoft Excel </li></ul>
