<p>Reports to the Practice Manager and works under the direct supervision of the Physician(s), the Senior Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring patient preparation and supporting the physician(s) with clinical and office duties.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - Senior Medical Assistant Certification Program preferred, not required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience</p> </li><li> <p>5-10 years Medical Assistant experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous general surgery, breast health experience helpful</p> </li><li> <p>Licensure and/or Certification</p> </li><li> <p>Medical Assistant Certification Preferred, not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of the Electronic Medical Record systems (EPIC)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain confidential information</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person</p> </li><li> <p>Strong multitasking skills needed</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent customer service skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.</p> </li><li> <p>Computer skills required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain confidential information.</p> </li></ul>
