<p>What you'll do at DBH:</p> <ul> <li>Assess and evaluate nursing/medical needs of patients </li><li>Initiate and direct implementation of the nursing care plan </li><li>Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior and condition </li><li>Administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician </li><li>Assist with physical examinations </li><li>Respond to emergency situations </li><li>Directs delivery of and evaluate psychiatric/nursing care of patients delivered by professional and nonprofessional staff </li><li>Prepare, review, implement and update records/reports/plans </li><li>Serve as an interdisciplinary treatment team member </li></ul> <p>This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 13 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. This position is located at 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio. Shifts are to be determined.</p> <p>Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.</p> <p>Additional Salary / Appointment Information:</p> <ul> <li>Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked from 3:00 pm -7:00 am </li><li>Additional $3.50 per hour retention supplement for hours worked from 3:00 - 7:00 am </li><li>Additional $3.15 per hour retention supplement for 72-hour float position. </li><li>Additional hourly retention supplements available for education and certifications </li><li>July 1, 2026, 3% percent pay increase </li><li>Longevity supplement at 5 years of service </li><li>Service supplement 2% at 12-24 months; 4% at 25-48 months; and 5% at 49 plus months </li></ul> <p>Position Qualifications:</p> <p>Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.</p> <p>Job Skills: Nursing</p> <p>Professional Skills: Building Trust, Collaboration, Attention to Detail, Delegation, Analyzation</p> <p>Required Educational Transcripts</p> <p>Official transcripts are required for all post-secondary education, coursework, or degrees listed on the application.
