We are looking for a high performing Wholesale Sales Representative who will work closely with our field marketing team in delivering brand, revenue, display, visibility and product education goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and has the passion and drive to execute key strategies and directives.</p> <p>This job is for you if...</p> <ul> <li>You're a passionate sales professional who wants to make their mark on an emerging industry </li><li>You have VERY strong conversational and written communication skills. </li><li>You like to play on a winning team </li><li>You're an energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards </li><li>You have a strong passion for creativity with equally strong project management capabilities </li><li>You possess excellent interpersonal skills working with a field sales team in building strong partnerships with retailers </li><li>You've been told (more than once) that you're gritty, a progressive, a roll-up-the-sleeves, get stuff done type of person that is organized, honest and thoughtful. </li><li>You're able to organize and manage multiple projects, juggle competing priorities, and consistently deliver key sales and revenue goals. </li><li>You're a proactive self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work both independently as well as take direction </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain an organized list of accounts in the territory, ranking the accounts based on opportunity and patient counts. </li><li>Solicit, secure and develop new accounts, drive sales with existing accounts and establish key customer relationships </li><li>Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis </li><li>Monitor customer, and competitor trends and provide a periodic market analysis </li><li>Maintain regular communication and perform a rotation of dispensary visits with our customers </li><li>Schedule, coordinate and execute events to promote our brands and educate our partners and patients on our products </li><li>Develop promotional plans, advertising programs, and educational initiatives to drive sales with customers </li><li>Direct accounts in proper and effective merchandising and consumer awareness of our brands by: </li><li>Building diverse product assortment </li><li>Guiding proper shelf management positions </li><li>Develop and execute clear and effective brand merchandising standards including visibility and display </li><li>Maintain and update a database of contacts for each of our retail partners </li><li>Create excitement and coordinate the launch of new wholesale products </li><li>Solicit wholesale orders and assist in the customer facing fulfillment process </li><li>Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community </li><li>Embody the mission, culture, values, while fully supporting our purpose, goals, and objectives </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High level of professionalism and experience working within a well-organized, sales-oriented company </li><li>Must be highly organized, with keen attention to detail and possess good time management skills </li><li>An entrepreneurial drive and proven 4-5 years of demonstrated success in B2B/CPG field sales </li><li>Strong networking skills required for lead generation/business development </li><li>Must have business acumen and sharp negotiating skills </li><li>Considered a "closer" and can provide evidence to support direct sales achievements </li><li>Excellent computer skills including strength in Word, Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>Knowledge of and experience in the cannabis industry preferred, but not required </li><li>Exhibit high ethical and professional standards while demonstrating honesty, integrity and behaviors in accordance with the company vision, mission, policies and procedures </li><li>Must have own vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance </li><li>Is willing to travel as needed </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must pass any and all required background checks </li><li>Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry </li><li>Must possess valid driver's license </li><li>Must be a minimum of 21 years of age </li><li>Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry </li><li>After-hours work required for business meetings, events and customer relations including nights and weekends as needed. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and/or at least 2- 4 years' experience in B2B wholesale sales preferred.</p> <p>We offer a competitive salary plus commission package based on experience and aptitude.</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Dental insurance </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Willingness to travel:</p> <ul> <li>75% (Preferred) </li></ul> <p>Work Location: On the road</p>
