The primary responsibility will be utilizing Brady Link360 software to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. This role also includes training employees on the updated LOTO procedures and training stakeholders on how to use the Link360 system to create and maintain them moving forward.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)</p> <ul> <li>Review existing LOTO procedures for accuracy and compliance. </li><li>Update and standardize procedures using Brady Link360 platform. </li><li>Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to verify equipment-specific isolation points. </li><li>Assist in auditing LOTO procedures and identifying gaps or improvements. </li><li>Develop and deliver training sessions for employees on updated LOTO procedures. </li><li>Train stakeholders on effective use of Brady Link360 for managing safety documentation. </li><li>Maintain documentation and version control within Link360. </li><li>Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>AN SAFETY INTERN WILL POSSESS AND DEMONSTRATE:</p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Brady Link360 is a plus (training will be provided). </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Ability to work alone and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. </li><li>Basic understanding of OSHA regulations, particularly Control of Hazardous Energy (29 CFR 1910.147). </li></ul> <p>WORKING DEMANDS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>40 hours per week, working 8am-5pm </li><li>Sitting and computer use </li><li>Travel as required up to 50% including extended overnight stays. </li><li>Comfortable with small plane travel </li><li>Good driving record </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO: Safety & Environmental Manager</p> <p>CONCLUSION:</p> <p>The safety intern position will exemplify the high standards that have come to be associated with Wausau Supply Company. The Engineering Intern/Co-op position's prime objective is to ensure that employee safety and product quality remain uncompromised while optimizing manufacturing processes and procedures.</p>
