<p>Now Hiring: Head Start Home Visitor</p> <p>Are you passionate about strengthening families, supporting children's development, and making a meaningful impact in your community? Join JFCAC Head Start as a Home Visitor and help empower parents as their child's most important teacher.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As a Head Start Home Visitor, you will partner with families of children birth to age five through weekly home visits, using a coaching model that promotes school readiness, family well-being, and healthy child development.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Build strong, trusting relationships with families in their home environment </li><li>Provide education and coaching on child development, family wellness, safety, and nutrition </li><li>Support parents in creating positive, meaningful interactions with their child </li><li>Conduct weekly 90-minute home visits and complete ongoing child assessments </li><li>Facilitate two monthly Group Connections to bring families together for learning and community-building </li><li>Assist families with goal setting, health access, and transitions to preschool or kindergarten </li><li>Collaborate with community partners to connect families with needed resources </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with Head Start Program Performance Standards </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate degree in social sciences, human services, early childhood, or a related field</p> </li><li> <p>OR 2 years of social service experience may substitute for degree</p> </li><li> <p>At least 2 years of experience in early childhood development</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work with diverse, low-income families with compassion and respect</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently in family homes and community settings</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally</p> </li><li> <p>Comfort with technology (Word, Excel, Outlook)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activities such as stooping, squatting, or floor play with children</p> </li></ul> <p>FDC credential provided and must be completed within 18 months of hire.</p> <p>Why You'll Love Working Here</p> <ul> <li>Make a lasting, positive impact on families in your community </li><li>Supportive team environment with ongoing professional development </li><li>Full benefits package available for full-time employees </li><li>Opportunities to grow within our Head Start programs </li><li>Work that truly matters </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>JFCAC is a community-focused nonprofit committed to empowering families and strengthening communities.
