<p>Your Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>The Senior Manager - Service is responsible for leading and coordinating service operations supporting Dürr Automotive paint finishing and automation systems at customer manufacturing facilities. This role manages Field Service Engineers and Service Specialists, oversees daily service scheduling, and ensures effective execution of service activities. </li></ul> <p>The Senior Manager - Service provides both operational leadership and technical guidance to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and aftermarket service activities. This position works closely with customers and internal teams to maintain reliable equipment performance and high levels of customer satisfaction.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage and coordinate daily field service activities and service call scheduling</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise Field Service Engineers and Service Specialists</p> </li><li> <p>Assign service calls and prioritize customer support activities</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure timely response to emergency service requests</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor service workload and resource utilization</p> </li><li> <p>Support continuous improvement of service processes and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise training department operations</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical leadership supporting Dürr Automotive finishing and automation systems, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Paint automation equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Robotic application systems</p> </li><li> <p>Conveyors</p> </li><li> <p>Ovens</p> </li><li> <p>Paint booths</p> </li><li> <p>Sealing equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanical and electrical systems</p> </li><li> <p>Automation and controls</p> </li><li> <p>Support troubleshooting of complex technical issues</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with equipment start-up and commissioning at customer facilities</p> </li><li> <p>Support testing and validation of automation systems</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical direction for major repairs and system modifications</p> </li><li> <p>Customer Support</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain strong relationships with customer engineering and maintenance teams</p> </li><li> <p>Support resolution of complex technical issues</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in customer service planning and review meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Aftermarket and Service Support</p> </li><li> <p>Support development of aftermarket proposals for equipment modifications and refurbishments</p> </li><li> <p>Support spare parts planning and service inventory activities</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee consignment cabinet and parts management activities</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate contractor activities when required</p> </li><li> <p>Support aftermarket service and sales opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Leadership Responsibilities</p> </li><li> <p>Provide direction and technical guidance to service personnel</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a positive work environment that encourages achievement of team objectives and customer satisfaction</p> </li><li> <p>Support training and development of Field Service personnel</p> </li><li> <p>Promote safe work practices</p> </li><li> <p>Encourage teamwork and accountability</p> </li></ul> <p>Your Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Required </li><li>7+ years of experience in a technical service or field service environment </li><li>Strong knowledge of industrial automation and finishing equipment </li><li>Experience supporting equipment at customer manufacturing facilities </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication ability </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams </li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel </li><li>Preferred </li><li>Experience with Dürr Automotive equipment and installations </li><li>Salesforce Service Cloud </li><li>Knowledge of Dürr parts and systems </li><li>SAP experience </li><li>Automotive manufacturing experience </li><li>Previous leadership or supervisory experience </li></ul>
