Units beyond Column I are semester units. Quarter units are converted to semester units on a scale of three (3) units to two (2) semester units. (Quarter Units x .667 = semester units.) Official transcripts will be requested as verification if selected for position. Verification of years of service (step placement) - Credit will be given for all verified full-time service. A year of teaching is defined as eight (8) or more months of full-time service in one (1) school year. Credit will be given for full-time night school, day school, or accredited private school teaching. Credit will not be given for practice or student teaching. (Steps 1 - 30) Official verification of experience letter from previous school districts will be requested if selected for position.
