<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Job ID 88238-147 Date posted 04/27/2026</p> <p>Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse</p> <p>Tampa Bay Joint & Spine is now hiring a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse</p> <p>Tampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center was formed by a group of local surgeons to offer easily accessible outpatient care to Clearwater and the surrounding communities.</p> <p>The goal of any outpatient surgical visit is to provide the patient with a comfortable environment that focuses on their safety, supports the surgeon with the newest equipment, experienced staff, and results in a successful surgical outcome. Patients appreciate being able to recover in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and friends.</p> <p>Tampa Bay Joint & Spine is looking to hire a PreOp / PACU Registered Nurse on a Full Time status.</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Current Florida Nursing License </li><li>Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS </li><li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing </li><li>Orthopedic and spinal surgery recovery experience REQUIRED </li><li>Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public. </li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative. </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient </li><li>Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation </li><li>Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics </li><li>Excellent teaching skills </li><li>Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology </li></ul> <p>USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
