<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Description: Ellington Public Schools is an innovative and inclusive district which seeks a highly motivated, collaborative, and creative teacher to join our highly dynamic preschool program.</p> <p>Job Summary: Candidate will work with students with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment. Ellington Public Schools prides itself on "where children come first", which includes expectations of highly skilled teachers whom create an engaging environment for students and families.</p> <p>Qualifications: Candidate must have knowledge of special education laws and instructional interventions for students with and without disabilities. Candidate must have knowledge of and worked with the Early Learning Development Standards (ELDS), the PPT process, as well as IEP development and interventions. Applicants must hold a valid CT teaching certificate with an endorsement in Comprehensive Special Education (#165) or Integrated Early Childhood/Special Ed (#113).
